Naval Operations Support Center Safety Stand-down
The NOSC requested a disaster/preparedness and SAF services speaker to discuss preparing for a disaster and to explain benefits of the American Red Cross Services to the Armed Forces to service members. Deb Stein, our friend and speaker from the Union County Chapter was fantastic in giving the presentation. She is a veteran and married to a veteran, for that reason, she related well to the one hundred young navy and marine soldiers who attended.
Naval Operations Support Center Yellow Ribbon Planning Meeting
The NOSC plans to have a Yellow Ribbon Event each Quarter. They would like a representative of the Red Cross to participate in the planning process. This is an excellent opportunity to establish contacts and relationships.
