Local volunteers send cookies to SAF instructor in Balad
While SAF instructor and Team Lead Ken Romero is in Balad, Iraq, volunteers from the Catawba Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross send cookies to him and his team.
Romero’s home base is currently Camp Zama, Japan, where he covers Zama and Atsugi Naval Air Station. Several Catawba Valley Chapter volunteers trained with him, and he and David Garrison became instructors together.
