Homeless Veterans Stand-Down
The Homeless Veterans Stand-Down was an event held at the Grady Cole Center in uptown Charlotte. There were well more than 60 venders and at least 250veteran attendees and 250 non-veteran attendees. The Red Cross had three veteran volunteers from the Greater Carolinas Chapter hand out “Get to Know Us” brochures, pocket first aid kits and hand sanitizers to the attendees. The Marine Corps League provided breakfast and lunch for all of those who participated.
