Blue Star Mothers Support Group
The Blue Star Mothers held a support group meeting at the Golden Corral in Mooresville, NC. They want to meet with the American Red Cross, Service to the Armed Forces to discuss how their organization can help us and how ARC/SAF could help them. They are having a difficult time reaching out to those that need assistance. ARC/SAF offered to link their website of activities to the Carolinas Piedmont Regional SAF Website Links page that focuses on the community’s resources and partners.
It was determined that the Blue Star Mothers’ region covers our 9 chapters and 13 counties. I explained how I would provide their contact information to all of our chapters and discuss with them the opportunity to host a support group meeting so that they could access and reach those who are unable to meet in Mooresville.
