We need more volunteers!
We have had nearly 10,000 holiday cards for heroes signed in just six days! Even better news, we will receive another 4,200 greeting cards on Wednesday.
We are looking for more volunteers to staff the tables for travelers to sign the Holiday Mail for Heroes greeting cards.
We would like to staff 1-2 tables from 7am-7pm this week through Saturday. Three (four hour) shifts will be offered each day through Saturday but please note the times are not carved in stone. If you can help for 3-4 hours, but cannot be here til noon, or can only be here 4pm-8pm that is fine just please let me know if and when you can help.
Thursday, Nov 1: Shifts 1, 2 & 3
Friday, Nov 2: Shifts 1, 2, & 3
Saturday, Nov 3: Shifts 1, 2 & 3
Shift 1 - 7am to 11am
Shift 2 - 11am to 3pm
Shift 3 - 3pm to 7pm
If you are interested, please email me at . I will need your name as it is spelled on your Driver’s License (or other state ID), your birthdate and the day and shift you want to volunteer. I will need this information no later than Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Once you are on the roster, I will contact you with instructions on parking and obtaining your gate pass. Please email (please don’t call) as this is the easiest way for me to manage sign ups.
