Volunteer opportunity

Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 8:30 am to approximately 2pm there will be a family day event for the 108th Reserve unit located on 1330 Westover Street, Charlotte NC. We are looking for 2 to 4 volunteers who would be interested in joining the festivities by manning an ARC tent w/ brochures and passing out popsicles and water.
Sunday, July 17, 2011 is a blood drive at the National Guard Armory (by the airport). This is a blood drive for the soldiers by the soldiers. We will be doing the exact same thing as we are doing for the family day; i.e., setting up a tent, brochures, popsicles and water. I don’t have the times yet but if you are interested, I’ll keep you updated as soon as I get word. I am also looking for 2 to 4 volunteers for this event.
